Experienced in developing and delivering digital campaigns using a variety of social media, I can help your organisation to build its online profile and develop low-cost websites and marketing tools by providing training or building you a new website.
I created the websites above using WordPress.com. This application is brilliant for beginner bloggers: I love the flexibility afforded by WordPress and the wide-ranging free support the site provides.
WordPress also works well with other forms of social media, making it easier to build a strong web presence for your organisation, whilst also reducing the costs of server storage since much of the content can be stored online.
World of Kays was the first website for which I took sole responsibility. Having worked for BBC Learning on several digital learning projects, I was eager to try out some of my own ideas in creating this community learning website using a range of social media tools to enable users to participate as much as they wanted in ways that were familiar to them.
All content was created and supplied by my team from the University of Worcester Research Collections. The site itself was constructed using a WordPress framework by Field of Vision. For the duration of the project, we also made active use of Facebook and Twitter to create an online buzz before the site itself went live.*
